About

I am a master's student in Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology specializing in the research and development of materials for energy storage and electronics. I am interested in accelerating technological developments that help in the transition to clean energy and smaller devices. I hail from a small town near Kochi (India).

I have worked with both computational and experimental tools for material design, synthesis, characterization, manufacturing and testing. I have a deep understanding of material modelling, coding (python, Matlab, C++) and statistical tools. In addition, I am trained to handle SEM, XRD, XPS, Optical microscope, Glove box, Potentiostat and Thermal analysis equipments.

I have published 2 conference papers and 1 abstract at International conferences. During undergrad, I was part of the Designers' Consortium, a student club that creates mechanical products to solve pressing challenges in energy, environment, healthcare and industrial sectors. Our projects bagged top positions in competitions and conferences.

Apart from academics, I was the Head of Mettle events and guest lectures team, ex-member of Material advantage and Rotaract club NITT

  • Placed 2/15 teams in Caterpillar Industrial Problem Challenge, 2020 at Shaastra, IIT Madras for designing a low-cost, small-scale landfill gas to electricity converter

  • Project Manager, Designers’ Consortium, the Official Product Design club of NITT, focused towards designing and fabricating new products and solutions to social, industrial problems and daily life opportunities imbibing project management, leadership, teamwork and presentation skills

  • Co-Head, Events and Guest Lectures, Mettle 2021, National level technical symposium of NIT-Trichy organized 4 guest lectures and 2 events, incharge of raising finances, communicating with delegates and judges, and managing a team of 14

  • Manager, Rotaract club of NIT Trichy, organized events to recycle technical books to incoming batch (benefiting around 100 people) from poor background, low cost access to registration of ID cards through government officials for students and awareness programmes about engineering in 3 village high schools with about 500 students

  • Coordinator, National Service Scheme (NSS) team of NIT Trichy, organized free eye testing camp for 200 people in campus, temple and sports ground cleaning
